Ability and Means

It took me a while to write something about Haiti’s earthquake disaster. I have prayed, contributed, listened and watched people’s responses with awe and admiration. Americans as usual came first and in full force/swing. This country has many of her positive sides.  Celebrities postponed their schedules and organized financial, medical and emotional support to reach Haitians.  Christian organization and non Christian organizations came together for the sake of others: this is true humanity. I am proud to be associated with a country who will not turn her back on the suffering of others. Brave United States of America!
